IT’S a true family affair for the 2022 Face Of Weetwood, Brooke Higgins.

Brooke was thrilled when she was chosen by the Toowoomba Turf Club to be this year’s Audi Centre Toowoomba Weetwood Face Ambassador and has a wonderful family affiliation with racing at the Toowoomba Turf Club.

The 27-year-old Toowoomba local is a lover of horses and racing and was the perfect fit for this year’s role.

There is no doubt, the racing industry is in Ms Higgins’ blood – her family comes with a long history associated with Clifford Park. Her great grandfather trained a Weetwood winner (Rindale, 1957), her grandfather trained many metropolitan winners (including the Stradbroke in 1973) and her father has the Townsville & Mackay Cups to his credit.

“It is an absolute privilege to be named the Face of Weetwood 2022 due to my family’s long history in racing and my love for the industry”

Brooke will represent Clifford Park at all Weetwood events, including the Weetwood golf day, Breakfast With The Stars, barrier draw, the Weetwood Calcutta sportsman’s lunch and, of course, the Audi Centre Toowoomba Weetwood race day.

Toowoomba Turf Club congratulates Brooke on her appointment as 2022 Face Of Weetwood.

“Brooke, as the Face of Weetwood, will assist with raising the profile of the Audi Centre Toowoomba Weetwood locally as well as interstate,” TTC Chairman Kent Woodford said.

“The community is extremely proud of this event and Brooke will represent the Weetwood and all associated events with confidence, style and sophistication,” Mr Woodford said.
